Hallelujah! For the fourth consecutive year, I beat my record on 10 km of Prom'Classic: 55'43''in 2008, 54'32''in 2009, 54'06''in 2010 ... 50'06'' today. In fact, this record, I sprayed four minutes after a consistent race I finished pretty cool to the point of having a polite conversation with the mayor of Nice, in the lobby of arrival.
In truth, I could do it again (slightly) better and faster in the last mile as usual, I refused to do so on behalf of jurisprudence Bubka. Remember the great Ukrainian pole vaulter beat the world record inch by inch to multiply accurately record and bonuses. In fact, I wanted to leave me a chance to further improve my time next year (forget the bonus!).
This edition was an opportunity to make me aware that Prom'Classic is a race ... macho. Indeed, women are leaving five minutes before the men. Suddenly, you catch hundreds of competitors, which is good for your honor Buck. As for talented racers or average, do you ever revisit: the sudden, you do not double your male susceptibility is not wrinkled. That said, I still Clotilde preview after the halfway point when the platoon crosses: she looks great, but I could not help but gloat in petto seeing his holding "green Shrek" (according to Jean-Christophe Picard who proudly wore the same shirt), she never misses an opportunity to mock the "frogs" of the General Council 06.
Bon, c'est true, I look a little ... enough!
