| Singer 50-60 years, probably at the time regarded as a minor artist because of minimalist texts, both fun and poet, Jean Constantin surprises on stage. corpulent but very energetic with his piano and his big mustache, he made a specialty in the register of the zany and fun song. In 1955, with Jean Dréjac (author of "Small white wine"), he noted in signing "Pretty butterfly flower," which was an early success of Annie Cordy. The same year he wrote "Put two Thune in the honky-tonk," for Catherine Sauvage and in 1956 "The slippers have papa" and "Sha sha persian" for Brothers Jacques. His two biggest hits (out of 300 songs written) was "My thing with feathers", immortalized by Zizi Jeanmaire, and "My ride to me," Edith Piaf song that has seen again the honors he's hit parade some time ago in an interpretation of Etienne Daho. Always for Piaf, Charles Aznavour, he also wrote "A t'regarder. John Constantine also wrote "My gigolette" for Yves Montand. He also has several movie soundtracks, including that of "400 Blows," Francois Truffaut. |

The small Republic of Sami Knight
On 9 February, the prefect of Alpes Maritimes decorate our Sami Cheniti the rank of Chevalier in the Order of Merit. This award, quite rare for one so young, was the act of recognition of his term Republican and professional associations. An opportunity - and in his speech the recipient had not failed to drive the point home - to highlight the associative movement and its difficulties in the gold palace prefect.
But if Sami knows, it is likely that could not be content to share this moment of deep communion with the few personalities present at the ceremony, without involving friends, activists, leaders of the small republic him popular education.
This has been done yesterday at the hotel CAT Esatitude ADAPEI Street Roquebillière. We were listening to a hundred, moved, Sami recall the main steps of a trajectory so exemplary. But, as I had occasion to recall a little later, this award is recognition of the beginning of a journey.
In fact, young and dashing, his head full of dreams and passion in the heart, the knight Sami did not surprise us. The future belongs to him.

About the great Bill Evans, I will, once again, emphasize the influence of French music from the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, the composers and jazz musicians. It seems to me that I would never say how the sensitivities of these two genera agreed to form the modern sounds. I also remember that Bill Evans followed in Paris, the course of Nadia Boulanger (1887-1979), whose role was instrumental in the careers of many soloists. Sister Lili, gifted composer, who died very young (1893-1918), daughter of Ernest, himself a composer (1815-1900), Nadia Boulanger seemed to hold the key to the mystery melodic and rhythmic French, so important in the history of music. I feel that I get bored, I just wanted to say that humanity, in the end, does not summarize the horrific performances of Muammar Gaddafi. Listen
